When do I need a Single Tooth Assessment?

  • If you have any pain, discomfort or treatment needs from any
    tooth (E.g. sensitivity, broken tooth, broken filling, root canal
    treatment assessment or second opinion)
  • Dentist/Practice advises this
  • Fee of £75 per tooth / Per site applicable

Includes

  • Single Tooth Assessment
  • 1 Intraoral X-Ray
  • Diagnosis, treatment plan and options of care
  • Digital Report

Excludes

  • Full Mouth Examination
  • OPG x-ray but may be advised at additional costs
  • All other sessions and Procedures
  • Any advice or enquiry after 7 days has lapsed. Additional fees
    are applicable

  • Pain from wisdom tooth suspected or confirmed
  • Dentist/Practice advises this

  • Wisdom Tooth Assessment for painful site only
  • Digital Report
  • OPG X-Ray (Subject to dentist prescription but most likely
    required for wisdom teeth)

Excludes

  • Full Mouth Examination and Extraction costs
  • CBCT Scan and case planning fees
  • All other sessions and Procedures
  • Any advice or enquiry after 7 days has lapsed. Additional fees

When do I need an Extensive Examination?

  • 2 or more teeth or sites to be looked at
  • Periodontal Disease Examination needed
  • Full Mouth Consultation for Diagnosis and Treatment plan
  • Dentist/Practice advises this instead of Basic Examination
    based on discussions held
  • When a Basic examination is inadequate in time or procedure
    to allow us to carry out sufficient consultation and treatment
    plan.

  • Full Mouth Examination
  • Multiple teeth testing
  • Periodontal Assessment
  • Digital Report
  • 2 Bitewing x-rays

Excludes

  • OPG x-ray but may be advised at additional costs

  • Full mouth examination and Single Tooth Assessment
  • 2 Bitewing x-rays (only if clinical required in the opinion of our dentist)
  • 1 Intraoral Periapical x-ray (only if clinically required in the opinion of our dentist) to investigate the root of the tooth as well.
  • Single tooth Tests and Special investigations

Excludes:

  • OPG / any other x-ray procedures
  • Any Treatment
  • All other procedures and surgery time

 

If any patient requests for our dentist to ‘Just take a look at’ or investigate any pain or sensitivity or discomfort or anything related to a particular tooth, we would automatically charge for a single tooth assessment without exception.
